Self-published authors have the wonderful and terrible responsibility of developing their own cover art. For some, they’re intimately involved in each step, perhaps even creating their own covers. For example, check out my pal Kay Manis’ sexy sports romance covers. For others (me!), the author relies upon a professional to create that special look, feel, and aesthetic appeal that catches the eye and grabs the reader’s interest.
